January 13, 1984 – October 2, 2026
With broken hearts, we share that our beautiful Jessica Dasler passed away peacefully on October 2, 2026, surrounded by love.
Jessica fought beyond what anyone thought possible. In her 42 years, she somehow lived many lifetimes. She travelled, sought adventure, challenged herself, loved deeply, became a devoted mother, helped countless people, and faced extraordinary hardship with a strength and determination that continually surprised even those caring for her.
Jessica had an enormous capacity to connect with people. Throughout her years living with cancer, she became an advocate, supporter and source of hope for others facing the disease. She shared what she learned, helped people navigate frightening diagnoses and difficult decisions, and changed and extended lives through her generosity, knowledge and willingness to help.
Above everything else, Jessica loved being a mother. Her daughter, Vera, was the greatest love and accomplishment of her life. The love between them was extraordinary and will remain one of the most important parts of Jessica’s legacy.
Jessica changed lives, defied the impossible & left more love in this world than she found.
There is far more to Jessica’s story than can be captured in an obituary. In the days ahead, her family will share more about the adventures she lived, the impossible things she overcame, the people she helped, the lives she changed & the remarkable legacy she leaves behind.
Her life deserves more than a few words. It deserves to be told.
