Is it too early to start pre-planning?

It’s never too early. We plan for many situations in life (education, starting a family, vacations, big ticket purchases, weddings, retirement) and purchase insurance for things like accidents, earthquakes, fire, floods, and theft. But it’s funny how most of us don’t plan ahead when it comes to end-of-life care, even though death is a certainty.

What if I change my mind?

That’s okay! Planning ahead doesn’t mean everything is set in stone; if your wishes were to evolve, your plan can too.

What if I don’t know what I want yet?

That’s perfectly normal! And we’re here to help you explore your choices. Our Pre-Planning Guide for End of Life is available to download on this page, or contact us to book a free consultation. After that, it will be your choice to continue working with us, and we will never pressure you to purchase a plan in advance.

What if I move away from Vancouver?

If you move away after finalizing and paying for your plan with us, don’t worry. Any funeral provider in Canada can use the funds, and we can help you with this process. There is no transfer penalty.

What if you close down your business?

Don’t worry, we aren’t planning on it! But if, for some unfortunate reason, we were to close down, all plans would be transferred to a values-aligned provider, with plenty of written and verbal notice to any affected families.
