Pre-Planning
KORU Cremation | Burial | Ceremony – Under One Roof
We are pleased to be one of the few funeral homes in Vancouver to be able to provide all essential services at KORU’s place of practice in South Vancouver. There, you will find an intimated gathering room, decedent bathing room, and a licensed refrigerated sheltering space (morgue).
Gathering Room
The KORU Gathering Room is designed to be a flexible, multi-purpose space. Small groups of family and friends can gather for private time with their dead (viewing or funeral service). It can serve as a backdrop for a virtual ceremony, or used as a teaching space or meeting room.
Decedent Bathing RoomÂ
The KORU Bathing Room is a unique space for family and friends to practice the ancient ritual of caring for their dead, with the guidance of experienced staff. It is the same space that KORU uses when that work is entrusted solely to us.
Decedent Sheltering Space
Having a licensed space for sheltering the deceased on-site gives both our client families and the KORU team comfort knowing that the deceased are sheltered and cared for under one roof.
