David J Winterwerb passed away peacefully on Monday May 22, 2017 at his residence with family present. He was our hero for how he dealt with his disability for over 30 years due to a car accident when he was 23 years old. He remained independent, feisty and handled many roadblocks throughout his years in a wheelchair. David usually took the hard road but had a big heart and adored his nephew Brett.
He is survived by his mother Marie Baigent (Peter) his father Frank Winterwerb (Lillian) his brother Mark (Penny Chye) his nephew Brett and four year old Matthew. David requested no service. Private Inurnment to take place at a later date in Ottawa, Pinecrest Cemetery.
