It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Amezcua. Born in Viby Denmark in 1947, Doreen lived every one of her 72 years with loving kindness. She was a devoted mother to her four children, Raquel, Justine (Mark), Nathalie (Jay) and Michael and a loving grandmother to Sydney, Paxton, Hailey and Alexis. She thrived in the kitchen cooking her specialty Mexican food, had a quiet and calming presence, and cared only for the comfort of others. Doreen was eternally youthful – loving long walks on the beach and spending time in her garden. She also leaves behind her husband Manuel, three siblings Jytte (Don), Flemming (Pat) and Steffen (Glenda), nieces, nephews and a community of close friends in Ladner where she spent the majority of her adult life.
A service will be held at the Kingdom Hall in Tsawwassen on June 1st at 2pm at 705-53 Street.
