We’re excited to share that KORU is opening an office in North Vancouver!
Those who have been following us for a while may know that we had a satellite office there from 2017 to 2018, and we’ve made it a goal to get back ever since. In 2026, we were able to make that a reality! (A shout-out to William Wright Commercial Real Estate for helping us secure the space.)
This decision is both practical and purpose-led. We have always felt very aligned with the North Shore in terms of lifestyle, values, and community, and we always do our best to be of service and meet clients where they are at (driving and commuting can be a real pain point!) We’re happy to offer another physical location for folks to visit us and meet in person.
This new office operates alongside our Vancouver place of practice, which includes an office, a gathering room, a decedent bathing room, and the facilities to house and shelter the deceased. There, we offer families the opportunity to participate in hands-on care, such as bathing and dressing, if they so choose.
We also offer ceremony planning services around the Lower Mainland, including North Vancouver, and have relationships with venues and ceremonialists in the community.
We’re excited to be of service to the North Vancouver community and to deepen our relationships with the incredible folks who reside on the North Shore. We’d love it if you could spread the word to your network or let us know if there’s anyone we should meet.
The office will be open in a couple of weeks and will be available for pre-planning or at-need conversations by appointment, Monday to Friday from 10 am to 5 pm.
