Cheryl was a beautiful believer who witnessed Christ love to every one she came in contact with. Awaiting to see her at the Bema where she will stand. Love her sister in Christ Kathy Eggett.

Thank you Kathy. While I am happy that she is not suffering anymore, I am distraught that she was taken from us so young. I had so much still to learn from her. She was an amazing woman who touched so many lives and will be greatly missed by so many. We are devastated and will not be recovering from this for a long time, if ever.

While living many provinces away – I haven’t seen my cousin in many years but I have lots of fond memories of Cheryl. She was always a fun and lighthearted person always smiling and joking. She had a great joy in her heart.

That is for sure Charlotte. She was smiling and joking right up until last week. The nurses and doctors commented often about how they were all so impressed with her spirit. They very much enjoyed her time at the hospital. She made them laugh and smile too. We will honor her by remembering the joy she brought to us.

Sending hugs to Ralph and family. I feel so bad this had to happen. Its at times like these that our heart feel the hurt, but its so hard to express how we feel. I used to stay at your Grandma,s when I was a little girl and your mom and I were like sisters riding our bikes all over and around the block, very near to Labatts Park. We also spending many hours at the park looking under the benchs to see what people had thrown away. That was when there was a lady called Mrs Lackie beside Grandma,s place..she was a nice old lady and was always giving your Mom and I cookies. One morning we woke up an there was a homeless person sleeping against the tree in Grandma,s front yard, eventually he left and your mom and I had to go snooping and we found a bunch of coins all over the ground beside the tree. We thought we were rich. As you can tell we spent countless hours with one another in our younger years…..then she moved West…I saw her only 2 times since she move West. I just pray that God will hold you all in his arms and comfort you as you adjust to life without her. Tell Grandma my mom and I will be waiting for her return.
With Much Love Cousin Ann (Witts) Livingstone

Dear Ralph and all the other members of your family…….

I was so shocked to hear of Cheryl’s passing. My sincere condolences to all of you. She was a dear friend and such a wonderful friend to many. Her faith extended itself to many others and she was a true blessing to all those who came in contact with her. I know she will be greatly missed by you all. May the peace of the Lord be with each of you. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the service for Cheryl as I am currently on vacation in Ireland.

    Blessings and much love…….

For all those who are not able to attend the memorial service, please come by the house in the weeks and months following to sign Cheryl’s Memory Book. Alternatively, you can write a message (and decorate it with pictures and/or drawings if you like) and mail it to the house and we will add it to the book. We would very much appreciate receiving these so please do not limit yourselves… stories are welcome as well.

A friend more so a “sister” is whom I miss. She is with us always in that that she was instrumental to many changes made in Vancouver Lower Mainland system especially for seniors and disabled. I was amazed today when the family reminisced their recollections of her interactions with them none of them to know of these achievements. Goes on to show she never boasted about what she had done. !!!!
What a soul. Lord give her Soul Rest in Eternal Peace, and strength to Violet, Ralph and family to bear this and ‘carry her torch’.
