Eileen Catherine Mattioli (nee Deery) B.S.N., aged 34 years of Sarnia, Ontario passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family after an enduring battle with cancer on May 6, 2019. Eileen took great joy in the outdoors, her work as an emergency room nurse at Vancouver General Hospital and showing the world to Tegan. She was a weekend warrior who turned to a cancer warrior.
Friends will be received for a funeral May 10, 2019 at 10:00 am at The Old Catholic Church of B.C., 715 E 51st Avenue, Vancouver. A memorial will be held at a later date in Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to small cell ovarian cancer research via Justin Mattioli.
