After a courageous battle with cancer, our friend, colleague, sister and life partner, Elizabeth Campbell, passed away just over one year ago. Though her absence is keenly felt, she leaves behind a legacy of love for all the people in her life. Liz’s love was like sunlight. Always warm, uplifting, light filled, and present.
Liz was also an outstanding lawyer — her intellectual rigour, commitment to fairness, and helpfulness to colleagues in the BC Prosecution Service, continue as an enduring example to all.
Predeceased by her parents, she leaves behind her spouse, Karen, brother Ron (Lisa), her niece Emma and nephew Scott, and many close and cherished friends.
A special thank you for the exceptional care she received from her oncologist Karen Gelmon who went above and beyond to help Liz fight her battle.
