My sister, Frieda was a kind, generous sister to all. Frieda enjoyed meeting people, so she started selling Avon products and made many new long term friends. Frieda didn’t have a lot of spare time as she had her family and over the years many foster children that she cared for. Frieda and her husband Gary were also Host Family to foreign exchange students. Frieda loved to travel and found wonder wherever she roamed.
Frieda was only here for a short time.
I will miss her and always love her,
    Gertie

Frieda was a very stong person on the surface. With all the foster kids coming thru her home she had to be. Organized, efficient, on top of things. And yet, the side she rarely showed to anyone, was full of emotion. Her family meant everything to her and that included all her foster children. She nurtured many of them in their earliest days of their lives and made them strong. Now it’s time for those left behind to be strong. Garry will be carrying on without his mate. They’ve had over half a century together. So many memories for him. She is gone. Her fight is over. But her memory and legacy are left behind.

Frieda was my foster sister for almost five years. We fought like sisters. I am sorry to hear of her passing.
