Remembrance of
Margaret Delgatty
1943 – 2021
According to her wishes, Margaret Delgatty died peacefully in her own bed, in her own home with her beloved daughter Heather and son in law Adrian by her side in the early evening of March the 8th, 2021.
Margaret will be missed by the large family that surrounded her throughout her life, particularly her children, Heather (Adrian), Scott (Elinor), and her siblings Albert, Ruth, Ben and Katherine and of course her beloved grandchildren, Kyle, Jamie (Amelia) and Owen and her nieces and nephews. Margaret will also be missed by the diverse communities, and friends young and old, who enriched her days throughout her long and abundant life.
As Margaret wished, all her adored grandchildren visited with her in her last few days. Ever curious and enthusiastic about life, Margaret did what she wanted, said what she needed to say and was always ready for her next adventure.

My heartfelt condolences go to you. Margaret was an intelligent, kind and creative woman, dedicated to love, justice and scientific queries; and above all, she loved her family. I was lucky to have known her , and will in particular cherish my memories of our trip together in Egypt.
