Howard Morgan, 94, passed away on Sunday, July 5th, 2015 at home in Maple Ridge, surrounded by family. Howard was born in Wales, spent much of his childhood in Australia and returned to England in 1930. He served with the RAF in WWII. In 1949 he immigrated to Canada and served as an Engineer in the forest products industry for much of his career. Howard was well travelled including moving with his family to Chile and Malaysia for work. He was a mechanical genius, bringing many innovative ideas to his places of work and projects for family and friends. Howard is survived by his loving wife Vera and children Robin (Sharron), Ralph (Pat), Jill (Mike Kelly, predeceased), Glenn (Ludmila), Jean (Gary Mathiesen) and Vincent, as well as brother Vincent (Kathy), 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery’s Celebration Hall at 5455 Fraser Street, Vancouver, on Monday, July 13th at 12:30pm. Memorial donations may be made in Howard’s honour to the BCSPCA.

    Vera
    Just came across this obituary for Howard and thought that name is one I know. I am Ray Olsen’s daughter and he has spoken of “Howard and Vera” many times over the years. His fondness for you both was well known.
