We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Susan Marion Chinnery, on March 23, 2025, after a short illness. Susan was predeceased by her parents, Marilyn and David Chinnery, and is survived and will be forever missed by her sisters, Ann (Claudia), Heather, and Karen Chinnery, her nephews Jonathon and Christian, and her niece, Raine. Susan is also deeply missed by her longtime friends and “second family,” Cathy and Howard Simon and their children, Noah (Hannah), Ruby (Rodrigo), and Oscar, and by her dear friends Colin Ross (Tony) and Tom Marszal.
Following Susan’s wishes, a green burial has taken place at Heritage Gardens Cemetery in Surrey, BC, and a private gathering to honour Susan will be held later this year. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Susan’s chosen charities, the BC Cancer Foundation or Kids Help Phone, or to a charity of your choice.

I was heartbroken to hear of Susan’s passing. I saw her at the office not all that long ago. We shared a lot of good times as part of the Ambassador program at Bell and she always had a smile and a kind word when we met. She will be missed, for her kindness, wit, generous spirit and so much more. 💔
