The next South Burnaby Bereavement Support Group for adults whom have lost a parent will be held on:

Monday, March 7th​
6:30 – 9:00PM (doors open at 6:00 pm)

Special request: We will be doing a sharing exercise where you will be asked to introduce and share the person for which you grieve.
I ask that you please bring up to five (5) items that represent the loved one for which you are grieving. Items may include: an article of clothing, a favourite mug, letters, jewelry, book, a movie, a nick-nack, etc. Please also include a photograph. You are under no obligation to participate, but it would be great if you would! If you have already participated in this exercise, you are welcome to participate in it again, if you so wish.

Therapeutic support comes from sharing experience, fears, and emotions with the group.

All groups are offered on a monthly basis and are a 2 1/2 hour drop-in. The groups are open to adults only, and are offered at a cost of $30.00 per session.

The groups have a structured theme, but also allow time for sharing one’s personal stories, challenges and triumphs.
